PROPOSAL TO ERECT FACTORY AT RONGOTEA, Palmerston N., June 18. Mr. W. Darragh, chairman of tho company, presided. Messrs Matheson, C. Massey, and Simmonds addressed the meeting and gave some very interesting particulars regarding the manufacture of dried milk, pointing out what had been done in this connection in. the Waikato district, and explaining how the estab-. lishment of a factory for the manufacture of the product would enhance the value of the land in the district. Mr. H. J. Lancaster, chairman of the Glen Oroua Dairy Company, also addressed the meeting. It was announced that Mr. H. E. Pacey, of Auckland, would be visiting the district this week in connection with the proposal.
