GENERAL GODLEY'S FAREWELL.
TO NEW ZEALAND TROOPS. Received June 10, 10 p.m. London, June 10. General Godley's farewell order to tie New Zealand troops state?: "You leave behind n reputation for discipline and lighting qualities, of steadiness, resource, Initiative, hard work, and gentlemanly conduct of which both you and New Zealand have every reason to be proud." General Godley especially thanks Generals Russell, Chaytor, and Richardson for their loyal co-operation and great capacity in leadership. He acknowledges the debt the force owes to Sir James Allen, General Robin, and other authorities in New Zealand. He odds that Now Zealand is destined to play a part in the world out of all proportion to her size and population.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc.
