WEDDINGS.

ANDREWS—CROCKER. A quiet hut pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Mary's Church on April 30, when Miss Lila Crocker, sixth daughter of the late Mrs. R. Crocker, of Ohristchureh, was united in matrimony to Karl Albert (Bert) Andrews, eldest son of Mr. Chaa. Andrews, of Okato. The ceremony was performed by the Vcn. Archdeacon Evans. The bride, who was given away by Mrs. Kindberg, was attired in a crepe de cheno frock with georgette yoke and sleeves hand embroidered. She wore th£ orthodox veil and carried a handsome bouquet of white chrysanthemums and roses. She was attended by Miss Elsie Kindberg and Miss Doris Andrew*', sister of the groom, who were attired respectively in pink and blue silk colienne and wore black transparent picture hats. Mr. C. Crocker, only brother of the bride, acted as best man, and Mr. Val. Andrews was groomsman. The groom's present to the bride was a fox necklet, and to the bridesmaids cheques. After the ceremony the wedding breakfast was partaken of at May and Arrowsmith's, only intimate friends of the families freing present. The happy couple left by the afternoon train eit route to Wellington and Christchurch, where the honeymoon was spent. The bride's going-away dress was a navy blue tailor-made costume and black velvet picture hat, relieved with green.
