The gathering was held in the' Presbyterian Chureh and. the proceedings opened in the morning at 10.15 with
devotional exercises. The Rov. Madkl* and the Rev. H. B. Gray presided at different s.tages. Addresses were then given by Mr. C. E. PerJkinson (Waiters) and Mr. Campbell (Eltftam) on "Personal Work" and by Mr. Boyd, of Whangamomona on "Individual Service," an interesting discussion following. A short address was also given by the Rev. -Gray Dixon, Moderator for the General Assembly. An adjournment was then matfe for luncheon at the "Medina Rooint," about 110 sitting down at the tabKjs. On resuming at 2 p.m., with Mr. W. T. Murray (Normality) as chairman, devotional exercises were followed by ail address by Mr. G. Ireland, of Inglewood, on "Bringing Others to Christ." A shoctr
discussion ensued, after which the annual business meeting.'was held. The annual report was read and adopted, and; several recommendations from the coun-. eil were dealt with. The election of officers resulted as follows: Prerfdimt, MJ. G. Ireland (Inglewood); chairman, ±»ev. Maxlill (Stratford); chairwoman, Mrs. Corrigan (Hawera); secretary, Miss Hope (Hawera). The roll call and greeting from all classes were taken. Tea, .provided by the local class, was served in the Sunday school, which was packed throughout. In the evening the Moderator of the General Assembly delivered a strikingly and intensely interesting address on "The Romance of the Catholic Presbyterian Church." Throughout the day the visitors) were hospitably provided 'for by the. Stratford class and their friends.
