For Australia, South Africa, India, Egypt, China, Japan and Straits Settlements (per s.s. itoggeveen, from Auckland), at 6.15 a.m. ■ MONDAY, JUNE 2. For United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, United States of America, Central and South America, via San'Francaico; also Tahiti, Rarotonga and Pcnrbyn Island (per ss. Moana, from Wellington), at 6.15 a.m. (Best despatch). KING'S BIRTHDAY—JUNE 3. Tuesday, June 3, will be observed as a holiday 'by the Post and Telegraph Offices. The Post Office will be closed in all branches. The Telegraph Office will be open from 9 a.m. to noon, and from 7 p.m. till midnight. The tele-, phone exchange will continue open as usual. The Private Box Lobby open as usual. The Railway Post Office will run as usual. All mails usually despatched on Tuesday will be closed at 8 p.m. on Monday, June 2. Supplementary Mails will be made* up on Tuesday, June 3, at 6.15 am. | A-Delivery of-Town Letters (including raglsI tered) will be made over the Post Office counter on Monday evening, June 2, from 8 to 9 p.m. There will be 430 delivery by postman.
