GENERAL RICHARDSON'S TRIBUTE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night, General Richardson says lie would like to place on record, through the Press, his high appreciation of the excellent work done by the Salvation for the New Zealand Expeditionary Force The Salvation Army raised large sums of money for the soldiers, and these were judiciously spent in the interests of the men. The Salvation Army organisation, through the medium of Major Green and various chaplains, assisted General Richardson to a very great extent. General Richardson mentions the value of such institutions as a hostel in London, a hut at Etaples, and other buijdings controlled by the Army General Richardson concludes by stating that he is deeply indebted to all chaplains and to the Salvation Army, falio worked so hard in the interests of the soldiers and their relatives.
