DELEGATES' BOISTEROUS RECEPTION. Received May 8, 10.30 p.m. London, May 5. The Irish-American delegation has arrived at Dublin, and received a boisterous reception. There was a great display of American and Sinn Fein flags. The Mayor officially received the delegates. The latter state that Mr. Lloyd George arranged their passports and promised to facilitate the passports for the Sinn Feiners to Paris, but wished first to meet the Irish-American delegates. This would occur when the delegates returned from Paris. The Irish-Americans state that the object of their visit to Ireland is to confer with "President" De Valera upon the question of securing the recognition of the Irish republic at the Peace Conference. —Aus. and N.Z.
