ACCIDENT TO NEW ZEALAND i SOLDIERS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Nifflit. While the Tainui was at Colon, Panama, a serious accident befell 22034 Pvte. H. J. Irvine. During a journey on the Cristobal Railway Irvine had the misfortune to fall from the train, and received serious injuries to his leg! He was removed to hospital, where, upon examination, it was found necessary to amputate the limb. Pvte. Irvine was left at Cristobal, where he is reported to be making a good recovery. A BOY'S DEATH. Dunedin, Last Night. A boy named Riddle, aged ten years, died at his home in Roslyn this morning, Dr. Harrison being unable to give ft certificate of death.
