FEEDING STARVING PEOPLES. FOOD CONTROLLER'S STATEMENT. Received April 30, 5,5 p.m. ' London, April 2S. The Pood Controller states that, excluding Germany and Bulgaria, nearly 12,000 tons of foodstuffs daily were delivered in Europe during March, in order to avert starvation; also thousands of tons of food hove been delivered m Germany since the relief arrangements were completed. During April 100.000 tons will have been sent to Germany. Plans are being formulated to feed over one nii!lio;i children in the liberated areas of Central and Eastern Europe. Furthermore, we are largely helping to feed France, Italy, Belgium, Greece, Switzerland, and Portugal,—Reuter.
