ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
1 MOTOR MISHAPS. Mi - .,.1. Holler, returning to Riverlea on Friday night, met with an accident which might have ended very seriously. The steering pear of his ear went wrong, and the ear became unmanageable and turned completely over. Mr. Moller was thrown clear of the car and was rendered unconscious. When he came to lie managed to get help, and was driven to the doctor, who dressed his wounds. He is also very much bruised 011 his legs and body, Iml ' ■ progressing favorably. The ear was con licrablv damaged—wind screen broken, radiator bent, and four broken spokes in the wheel. On Wednesday night Mr. Cecil Evans, returning home on his motor bike from Eltham, collided with Mr. Fred Muir, who was leaving Kaponga in his gig. The gig escaped with a broken splashboard, but the motor bike was considerably damaged. Mr. Evans was shot a number of yards on to the hard road. He sustained severe cuts 011 the scalp and a badly bruised leg from the hip to the ankle. He was picked up unconscious, and was taken to Dr. Boyd's where his wounds were dressed.—Stas.
