MARTIAL LAW AT LAHORE. London, April 14, Martial law has been proclaimed at Lahore. An aeroplane bombed and dispersed the mob, which attacked a train. —Renter.
FURTHER RIOTS REPORTED. Received April 19, 5.5 p.m. London, April 14 Mr. Montagu, in the House of Commons, announced further riots in India. The city telegraph offices at Lahore, Allahbad, and Amritsar had been destroyed by fire, and there was some loss of life, including Europeans.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
