MAINTENANCE OF ORDER. DEPENDS ON FOOD AND RAW MATERIAL. Received April 6, fi.s p.m. London, April 4. Colonel Macalpine, who has returned from Poland, confirms the report that if social order is to be maintained it will be not only by food, but by the raw material that is required to get the people to work. There is a difficulty, owing to the country's finances, to procure these, and it looks as if Britain will have to render some financial aid.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assoc.
