THE NAVY.
DISPERSAL OF THE GRAND FLEET. FORMATION OF SQUADRONS. Received March 28, 7.20 p.m. London, March 22. Following the dispersal of the Grand Fleet, the Admiralty has drawn up new plans for the distribution of the navy, which will be divided into various squadrons in home and foreign waters. The home fleet is commanded by ViceAdmiral Sir H. F. Oliver; the Atlantic squadron, based on home ports, is commanded by Admiral Madden; the west Aslantic squadron, based on Bermuda, is commanded by Rear-Admiral Everett. Vice-Admiral Sir John de Robeck retains command in the Mediterranean, his flag-ship being the Iron Duke. ViceAdmiral Sir A. L. Duff has been appointed commander of the China station. It is understood that Vice-Admiral Keys is taking a battle-cruiser squadron on extensive tours in foreign waters.
