CHINESE RAILWAYS.
JAPAN OBJECTS TO INTERNATIONALISATION. New York, March 20. The Peking correspondent of the New York Times says that a Japanese correspondent says that Japanese official disapproval over the contemplated internationalisation of Chinese railways is responsible for the plan aiming at the isolation of Japanese railway interests in Tientsin and Pukow, will he considered as an indemnity and awarded to Britain or France.—Aue.-N.Z.
