CRICKET.

NORTH TARANAKI ASSOCIATION REVIVED. A meeting was held at the Soldiers' Club last night, Mr. P. .Wills presiding, with a view to resuscitating cricket in North Taranaki. A resolution was passed that the Association he revived and reconstructed, the following executive being appointed: Messrs Moves, Robertson, Nieoll, Weston, Bottorill, and E. Whittle, with, a recommendation to interview the Jockey Club and Borough Council as to financial assistance. It was also decided that, if possible, the racecourse be secured for a cricket ground. The meeting adjourned until the executive's report was ready for consideration.
