AIRMEN BOMB SPARTACISTS.
DEADLY FIGHTS IN TUNNELS. Received March 12. 12.20 a.m. London, March 10. The Daily Express Berlin correspondent asserts that airmen bombed the Spartaeist strongholds in the Merlin underground railways, using heavy bombs, which penetrated the tunnels. ESCAPE 01' RUSSIAN PRISONERS. THE PEASANTRY TERRORISED. Received March 11,.7.45 p.m. Amsterdam, March 10. While the soldiers who were guarding the Ruhleben camp were called away to suppress the rioting at Spandau, five thousand Russians escaped. FIGHTING ON GOVERNMENT SIDELondon, March 8. The Berlin corps of officers, numherjng '2OOO, is taking a great part in the final battle for supremacy in Rerlin. Many are. monarchists hut are supporting Herr Ebert. All are under oath to assist the Government against the forces of disorder and bring about an early peare. The Government troops arc gaining ground. The Spartacists on Thursday stormed and captured the great telegraph and post offices in Oranienburger fttrasse.
