WORK AND WAGES.
THE WEST COAST MINERS.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Greymouth, Last Night. Although the ballots held by the coal miners' unions over the Blackball dispute at the State, Blackball, and Paparoa mines re understood to have favored restricting the output by a large majority, the decision to "go slow" was not put into operation to-day at any of the mines. It is understood the miners in the Buller district are taking a ballot to-day. It is expected that there will be no "go slow"' until, at least, after the conference on the Blackball dispute at Wellington under the chairmanship o£ the Minister for Mines on Wednesday, when the principal matter to be considered is the reinstatement or not of the Blackball union's executive, who were dismissed when the dispute arose. The delegates to the concerence are leaving her"; to-morrow.
