THE RECALCITRANT SINN PEINERS A DRASTIC MOTION. Received Feb. 19, 7.40 p.m. London, Feb. 17. In the House of Commons, Mr. Bonar Law stated that the Government did not propose any action concerning the absence of the Sinn Feinerß. Mr Bottomley gave notice of motion for a roll call of the House, in order to compel the recalcitrants to attend in custody of the sergeant-at-arras.—United Service. GERMAN CRIMINAL EXPELLED. London, Feb. 18. Amongst the Germans repatriated from England on Saturday was Franz von Weltheim, who killed Wool Joel at Johannesburg hi 1898. He was acquitted of murder on the plea of self-defence, and sentenced at the Old Bailey in 1008 to ?0 years' imprisonment for demanding £1(5,000 from Solomon Barnato Joel. Von Weltheim was looking well after his long years of imprisonment and nine months in internment camps.—Aus.-N.Z Cable Assn. AERIAL NAVIGATION. London, Feb. 18. The new proposals iu procedure in the House of Commons aTe to refer many details to standing committees. General Seely introduced the Aerial Navigation Bill, requiring licenses, registration and precautions against smuggling.
