KAWAROA PARK.

ANNUAL MEETING OF SOCIETY. Tiio annual meeting of the Kawaroa Park Eeautifying Society was held at , t'he Bungalow last right." The chairman (Mr. V. H. Beale) presided, and there was an attendance of about 30, including many ladies. A number of apologies for absence were received. ANNUAL REPORT. Tbe annual report and balance-sheet (already published) were presented by the secretary, and the chairman moved ■ their adoption, further complimenting the society on its very satisfactory position, with special reference to the work of the custodian (Mr. Coad). The motion was seconded by Mrs. W. Oliver and carried unanimously. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The election of officers resulted as follows: Patron, Mr. W. L. Newman; president. Mr. V. H. Beal; vice-presidents, Messrs W. C. Weston, E. P. Webster. L. Keith, F. Reston, H. Hill, H. Ward. N. Greiner, J. E. Wilson, H. Price. A. E. Sykes, W. H. Moyes, 11. Dempsey, E. Bary, T. C. List, C. H. Burgess, and Dr. Leathain (all re-elected), and Messrs R. A. Large and M. J. Hamilton; secretary, Mr. 0. J. Howarth; treasurer, Mr. F. Moverley; executive committee, the president, secretary, and treasurer *S(exoffieio), and Messrs J. Hoskin, T. Petty, J. G. Russell, and Y. Hoskin; management committee, Messrs J. Ward, J. Urry, T. Pratt, G. Waters, S. Coad, J. McManus. H. Gaylard, R. Inch, B. Gardner, J, Nodder. and J. Grylls, with the executive; ladies' committee, Mewlames W. Oliver, S. Coad, AVallach, McLean, Hoskin, Grylls, Pellew, Petty, Moverley, Beal, Hooker, Billing?, Gaylard, Ccstello, and Miss Pardy. Mrs. Oliver was reelected president of the ladies' committee. GENERAL.
