PRESBYTERIAN MEN'S LEAGUE.

VISIT FROM ORGANISER. ■ The Rev. Vt. Scorgie (Dunedin), who i.i making a tour of New Zealand in the interests of the Presbyterian Men's League, was in New Plymouth during the week-end just past. At a meeting on Monday night of office-bearers in St. Andrew's Church, presided over by the Rev. O. Blundell, it was decided to form a branch of the league here, all those present intimating that they would join. The purpose of the league is to rally fhn men of the Presbyterian Church to the work of the church. The church in Sew Zealand is up against the same problem* as the church in America was 25 years ago; only 23 per cent, of the men took an active interest in the work of the church, the other 77 per cent, "tsndinsr aside and doin? nothing.
