WAIWAKAIHO ANNUAL BULL FAIR.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 17. This popular annual fixture will this year lie held ten (lays later in the sea- : son than of recent years, but this should slightly assist Taranalci dairymen owing to the backward season. Catalogues, giving full particulars of the pedigree animals, can tie obtained at any of Mr- King's offices, and they contain a lot of useful information. [Pedigree Shorthorns to the number of M are entered by the well-known North Taranaki breeders, Messrs R. Turnbull and Son, Sentry Hill. These bulls have all got a full, extended pedigree, which is liow in the auctioneer's hands, and these pedigrees can be inspected at the auctioneer's ±\ew Plymouth ojlice. The cows that these young bulls are out of are very fine types of the dairy beast, and the" vendors will be only too pleased to show the herd to any inquirers prior to the sale. In addition to the pedigrees to be offered in the Shorthorn ?ine there will be sold, on accdunt of other vendors, 52 grade Shorthorns which should attract considerable attention. In the Holstein-Friesian section of the catalogue there are some wonderfully well-bred aged hulls that should suit dairymen with a, large herd of cows. Tb.o quality of the yearling and two-year-old bulls to be offered is first class, j and keen competition is expected in this class. Where such well-known breeders as Mr. W. James and A. Harold Street are present with their annual draft, dairymen should rest assured that they will'be able to satisfy their wants at this sale. The number entered renders it impossible to fully describe them individually, but we can recommend the entry to Jersey .fanciers and dairymen.
