ARRIVAL AT WELLINGTON.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Government stear.-.er Tutanekai arrived from the Chathams this afternoon, bringing .Captain Thompson, four officers, and. ten of the crew of the illfated (Himitangi. All werp well.
The survivors are reluctar-t to speak of the wreck incidents, in vi3W of inquiry, but general statements suostantiate previous reports. A preliminary inquiry has already been hell at the Chathams before the Collector of Customs, whose report was ■ sent to the Minister.; A magisterial inquiry will be held at an earlv date.
