CANADA'S STATUS AS A NATION.

Ottawa, Aug. 20. As the result of the Imperial War Cabinet meetings, Canada now possesses full control of her overseas troops, with the exception of matters of discipline and military operationsThe change is regarded here as a further indication of the recognition of Canada's status as .1 nation within the British commonwealth.
The Canadian, press approves the changes by which the overseas Premiers Will communicate direct with the British Premier; also the permanent representation in the Imperial Cabinet —Press Association.
