PURCHASE BY GOVERNMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, August 10. It is understood that the Government has decided to exercise its option to purchase an additional 2,0C0,000 bushels of wheat iu Australia, in order to assure sufficient supplies for the whole of New Zealand.
