THE ALBANIAN DRIVE. ALLIES' IMPORTANT SUCCESSES. Received July 24, 7.25 p.m. London, July 23. A FTench Eastern communique states: After a series of desperate struggles in Albania we drove the Austrians from all positions south of Holta. Salonika, July 23. The Franco-Italian advance continues in Albania. The Italians crossed the Bevoli, north of Berat, the French on the right wing clearing flora, one of the high mountains between the Devoli and Skumbi rivers, threatening the road between Struga and El Bashan. London, July 23. Mr. Jeffries states that the Allies are gradually capturing the whole territory of twenty miles between El Basan and Barat. The Albanians vengefully lead the pursuit through the highlands, the Italians following to give the final blow. The Austrians are still holding out around Goritza.—Times Service.
