Albert Jenkins, aged seven years, was accidental)' shot dead by his brother, aged 15 years, at Waiknku this afternoon. The elder boy was standing at the back door of his home with a loaded gun, intending to shoot sparrows. In turning round, the trigger caught a button on his jacket and the gun discharged, the shot striking his brother, who was 5 feet away, in the face, death being instantaneous.
