| THE INDUSTRIAL TROUBLE. GENERAL BOTHA MEETS THE | NATIVES. Received July 13, 10.45 p.m. | Pretoria, July 11. General Botha, in accordance with his promise, met a representative gathering of natives, who voiced their grievances. These were largely economic, the cost of living, and compensation for death and disablement. General Botha expressed his desire to fully consider the representations, and on receipt of the report from the Commissioner appointed he would investigate their grievances.— Press Association.
