The chairman explained that the meeting had been called to consider the question raised by the Egmont Racing Club as to the validity of the allotment of the days of racing made by the district committee for the coming season at the meeting held on May 21. The question had been submitted to the president of the Racing Conference, and ho had ruled that the reductions agreed upon by a special committee in June of last year, held during the war, and that therefore the resolutions as passed at the last meeting of the committee regarding the allocation of days of racing were invalid. The following jdatcs were therefore agreed upon, in accordaßfe with the resolution of the special meeting'held last year. Taranaki Jockey Club: December 20, 1918. and February 5 and C, 1919. Egmont Racing Club, February 12 and 13, 1919, and May 7. 1919. Stratford Racing Club: January 1, 1919. Opunake Racing Club: March 17, 1919.
