REPATRIATION OF WESTRALIANS. London, June 3. Mr. Connolly, MX.A., visited. Weymouth to investigate the discontent among Westralians awaiting repatriation. They complained that preference is given to troops for the eastern States. Mr. Connolly explained the difficulty | in providing transport, but the authorises promised an early ship to go to Perth direct. Mr. Connolly has forwarded a protest to the Commonwealth Government against insisting on the repatriation of Westralians who have lost limbs, as they prefer to undergo a technical courae in England whle having their artificial limbs made, instead of returning to Australia without limbs. Mr. Connolly points out that the cost would be thrown on Westralia in having to train them later for civilian occupations instead of on the Commonwealth. —Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc.
