To any farmers interested In this breed, a glance through the catalogue will show that the vendors have a particularly fine line of Frieslans to offer to 1 the public. It Is unfortunate for the breed that through labor troubles Messrs. Clifford Bros are unable to continue with this herd, as when putting tho line together nothing was spared when they were out to buy. They have Included in the catalonuc such noted cows as "Grace Favne of Ashlynn." "Alcartra Rozine tie Kol," "Longbeach Michaelmas Daisy" (a magnificent cow), "Leila Moore of Ashlynn," "Rozlne 3rd Fayne" and others, that without tipplvlng to the auctioneer for a catalogue, and examining the pedigrees of the very fine animals to be sold, breeders and dairvmen might miss the chance of a lifetime. The milkers of the herd, it will be noticed, are practically nil In calf to that champion old bull, "King Fayne Segls 2nd" (imp), so that farmers have also an opportunity to secure some of the Jast of this fine old aristocrat's stock. "King Fayne Segis 2nd" just recently met with an accident, and the vendors had to destroy him. His roemorv will be perpetuated in the Frteslan world by the stock he lias left. Included in tho catalogue is a magnificent line of yearling ituDs and heifers which should attract fanciers from all parts of the Dominion. Catalocues arc now available, and c.-in bo obtained from the auctioneer, Mr. Newtor. King, New Plymouth.

SALE OF DAIRY COWS. In this issue, wo insert particulss of a sale of dairy cows at the W»iwaknJhn saleyards, on account of Mr. Ceor " Mitchell Through Ids sons golnfr to the front, Mr. Mitchell must reduce his dairy herd, and he has therefore decided to sell the whole of his cows, without reserve, and keep only his rising two-yenr heifer*. Included in the cows are ten pedigree j e rs?ys. for which catalogues arc now being printed, and can be obtained within a few days from the auctioneer.
