HAWERA WINTER SHOW.

Advice was received by tie secretary yesterday that the Minister for Agriculture (the Hon. W D. S Mac Donald) has kindly arranged to be present to open the show on July 2. It as fitting that the Minister should open this year's show, because the Show Committee by leasing two big nails to the Patea Freezing Company, hag enalbled the directors of the industry to secure a very large amount of extra storage, sufficient to accommodate about a quarter of a million pounds worth of dairy produce. The show is, therefore, more intimately t&an eiver interested in tho dairy industryThere will be, as usual, a very fine display of dairy machinery, and everything else connected with the industry. It is hoped that the people will, .is always, respond and give the show enthusiastic support, and so help a useful institution.
