RETURNED SOLDIERS.

CONFERENCE AT AUCKLAND. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, May 28. The returned soldiers' conference resolved that all oases of war injuries as disabilities should not be discharged until cured; that, in the case of shell- • shock and neurasthenic eases, an institution of a special nature to deal only with such cases, ind having facilities for proper massage and electrical treatment, i!>e established without delay under conditions which will make access to liquor impossible. A resolution was carried expressing satisfaction with tihe present accommodation for soldier mental patients, some delegates asking that their opposition be recorded. It was resolved that the Repatriation Department should create special employment bureaux, and that local returned soldiers' associations should do the work, the remuneration being provided by the Government.
