ARBITRATION COURT.

BUILDING TRADE WAR BONUS. By Telegrapn—Press Association, Christchurch, May 1. The Arbitration Court gave judgment on the application of the employees under the builders, contractors and general laborers' award, for an increase of the war bonus from ten to twenty per cent. The judgment states that the court, after careful consideration of statistics, is satisfied that the general living conditions do not substantially differ now from those existing when the award was made. The majority of the court, therefore, decided that the application should be dismissed.
