TO ALIENATE .SYMPATHY FROM ALLIES. Washington, April 10. GBrmariy is ingiduousJy endeavoring to alienate Spanish sympathy from the Allies. Semi-official advices state that (Germany is striving by promises and threats to cut oil supplies which Spain had promised to send to American troops on the West front. There h a powerful undercurrent of German influence in Spain which declares that Spain would prefer civil war rather than war against Germany.
