SEDITIONMONGERS RELEASED. THE RECRUITING CONFERENCE. Sydney, April 14. The Government lias remitted the sentences on Mcßistal and Riley, two leaders of the late strike, who, in November last, were sentenced to nine months each for making seditious utterances. Melbourne, April 14. The Governor-General's recruiting conference gat through Saturday and resumes on Monday. It is officially announced that the discussion dealt with economic conditions, administration, the War Precaution Act Regulations, and press censorship. The Governor-General, in his opening address, earnestly stressed the necessity foi all parties working in unity in view of the seriousness of the war situation.
