In Chambers to-day, before .Mr. Justice Stringer, counsel for the petitioning creditor (Kinyard's Ltd. ami liowrnn Bros.) renewed his application, made on the 12th inst. before Air. Justice llerdman, for leave to make substituted service on James AteCoiulis, M.l'-, in respevt of a petition in bankruptcy. Justice Stringer made an order for substituted service 'by the delivery of the petition at McComb's house and also by sending a copy of the summons and petition bv registered letter addressed to James ,McComb, M P., 0.P.0., Wellington- His Honor fixed tiho hearing of the 'petition for Wednesday.
