NEW PLYMOUTH MAYORESS RE- , CEIVES A DECORATION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The King lias made the following appointments to the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, and signified his approval of the issue of further similar lists on the occasion of his, Majesty's hirbhday and New Year. The Secretary. of .State for the Colonies desires to draw attention to the fact that these honors have been recommended and awarded Bolely for services in connection with the war:
To be a merabor of 'the first dasß Dames of the Grand Cross, Countess of Liverpool.
Second class, or Knight Commander of the Order, Baron Plunket.
J hird class, or Commander of the Order: Mrs. Massey, Lady Ward, Mrs. Jacobina Luke, ColoncJ It. W. Tate (Wellington), Mr. Robert 11. Nolan and Mrs. E. A. Wilson (London). The fifth class, or Members of the Order, include Mrs. Ann Burgess (Mayoress of New Plymouth). •.-
