Twelve second-lieutenants have returned lor duty after training in the ollieer-s' corps. About half Jiavc been wounded, the balance suffering illness, including a high percentage of pulmonary troubles following gas poisoning. Between forty and fifty aro minus a limb. A number have lost nil eye. The southerners go south by special train to-morrow afternoon. Auckland, Last Night. The draft of soldiers who returned yesterday included 18 second-lieutenants who are to join future reinforcements, of whom 14 originally went to the front with the main body, and several have been on active service during the whole period without being wounded.
