ANOTHER RAID OVER ENGLAND. EIGHTY CASUALTIES, Aus and N.Z. Cable Assoc, and Reuter. deceived Oct. 21, 5 5 p.m. London, Oct. 20. Six or seven airships attacked the eastern and north-eastern counties and proceeded some distance inland, but no very definite attacsk were made. Bombs were dropped at various points, including a few over the London area. Latest report? slate that twentv-seven persons were kill.'d and fifty-throe injured. A feature of last night's air raid over London was U;e silence and the absence of excitement. The residents of many suburbs were unaware of the raid. Official warning Was given early to the people, and, several hours passing resultless, they left their shelters and went To their homes. The night was calm and hazv. The first shells fell about mignight, one killing five persons. Some provincial centres were visited, but the raiders, uncertain as to their whereabouts, dropped many bombs in fields. One dropped on the outskirts of a town, crashed through the ceiling of a workman's house, and killed the mother and two daughters. FRANKFORT BOMBE Received Oct. 20, 5.5 p.m. Amsterdam, Oct. 19. Allied aeroplanes bombed Frankfort on Friday.
