THE BUTTER OUTPUT.

THE PROBABLE PRICE. By Wire.—Our Parliamentary Reporter. Wellington, Last Night. It is understood that the price now offered to the New Zealand butter producers is 157s per cwt., and this the producers hero have been inclined to accept. Mr. Massey states lie has no knowledge of the action of the butter people at home., claiming to represent the New Zealand Dairy Association, approaching Lord Rhondda independently. It is probable that representations were really made on behalf of New Zealand merchant exporters. The price named at that interview was a parity with 224s for Irish butter, or equal to Iflfe per cwt. or la 9d per lb for New Zealand f.o.b.
