— THE MINERS' POSITION. Received Oct. 2, 12.25 a.m. Sydney, Oct. 1. The definite result of the coal miners' vote is not expected before to-morrow. The latest indications point to a majority being in favor of resumption. It is anticipated the miners at the various pits will report for work on Wednesday and the Miners' Federation Council on Friday will consider the position as it then exists.
