BOWLING.
On the Fitzroy winter green, on Saturday, a three-rink game was played between New Plymouth and Fitzroy, the visitors being defeated by 18 points. The play between A". K. Smart's and S. Smith's teams was close and exciting throughout. At the last head the score was level and up to the last bowl Sraitn lay the shot, but a lucky roll in of Smajt's last delivery just gave the latter the advantage.
