EDISON'S NEW DEVICE
TORPEDOES DEFLECTED FROM SHIPS.
Router Service. Received Sept. 19, 12.25 a.m. Washington, Sept. 18. Great interest is attached to Edison's new torpedo deflecting device. There was a spectacular test on Sunday, when passengers on a. liner saw a torpedo jump away from the ship. Many vessels have already been equipped with t'hs device.
