PURCHASE OF BUTTER OUTFIT

A conference of delegates from tworttyfour butter factories to-day decided to hold a conference at .Wellington on August 22, and afterwards interview the Premier on the question of the purchase of the'-butter output by the- New Zealand or Imperial 'Government. A committee was appointed and authorised to offer to sell the butter output" at a price on a parity with cheese, allpwing threepence per lb on butter-fat as the difference between skim milk and whey, but ti'as given a free hand to make the best arrangement in the interests of the producers;
