MILITARY SERVICE BOARD.

SECTARIAN APPEALS. Wellington, August 3. The Military Service Board said careful consideration had been given to the case of appeals by members of the sect known as the "Testimony of Jesus," and the conclusion come to was that appelants do not come under provisions of section 18 of the Act. The appeals jvill therefore be dismissed and if appellants agreed to sign the declaration provided by the board they would recommend that they be called on to do non-combatant service. It was intimated that appellants (Would sign the declaration.
