Subject to necessary alterations, mail-, will close at the Chief Post Office, New Plymouth, as under:— For Auckland and Ncrtli, daily per train at (5.15 a.m. For Auckland and Norlh, per steamer, Tuesday and Friday, at 7 p.m. For Napier and Gisborrie, daily at 0.15 a.m. For Wellington and South, daily at 0.15 a.m., and 11 a.m. For Wanganui and intermediate offices, daily at 0.15 a.m., 11 a.m., and I) p.m. For Opunake and intermediate offices per motor bus, daily at fi.ln a.m. Mails for the United Kingdom, America, and all oversea countries, including Australia, will be. despatched from time to time bv tlie best route without spec' ial notification.
