TARANAKI AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY.

THE WINTER SHOW. Commencing on Wednesday next, June 13, the, ahove Society's eighth annual Winter Show will be held as advertised in t'his issue. Since the commencement of the Winter Show the entries have been increasing each year, and although this is war time yet the Society's supporters have come forward well, so that this year we arc able to report an increase of 95 entries in poultry and a substantial increase in the general competitions, The various committees have been working hard so that the smallest detail may have the attention that is necessary to ensure satisfaction to the exhibitors and comfort and attraction to patrons. The iN T e\v Plymouth Citizens' Band will ibe in attendance* on each of the four nights and Mr. McLeod, the band- ■ master, promises paftons a musical treat as several new and splendid items will be rendered.
