AN ASSAULT ENDS FATALLY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. There has been a sensational development in connection with the assault case which came before the Magistrate'* Court yesterday, when a man named Willie.m Reynolds was charged with as-, saulting Bert 'Parker. It was mentioned at the time that Parker's condition was serious, an operation to relieve tho pressure on the brain havipg been performed at the hospital, but 'the patient died.
