OVER TWENTY-TWO HUUOWI By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The war expenditure in the Dominion 1 to March 31 was £22,075,238. The ton tal included an amount of four million* five hundred thousand paid to the Imperial Government for maintenance of New Zealand troops in the field, the supply of ammunition and provisions, and extra transport. This is the first statement of the expenditure of New Zealand in which this item is included, but on many occasions it has been mentioned' by the Minister of Defence as a deft we owed the Mother Country. '
