The evidence showed that deceased and William Herbert Hayden went to„repair<,a break in the linejto without reporting to the secpnd engineer at the sub-station, as they shoufd. They left tho switch out and'the current off. Their absen'ee on the line not being known at the Bub-station, the switch was (replaced, turning on current arid causing the accident. Hayden, who had received a bad shook, was only able to give evidence now. TJhe inquest was j further adjourned until Tuesday next.
